It's Melting

What seems like 50 inches of snow that is on the roof is melting and forming icicles. The house across the street has the longest icicles I've ever seen.

This is a mess!

This is what happens when you stay home....MESS everywhere. When I put the girls down for a nap today I didn't know where to start. Please know that I did do dishes and pick up before getting on the computer, but I do ask myself why. I know within an hour or so of them getting up this afternoon the living room will be a mess again.

Snow

My attempt of capturing it snow yesterday. Once if finally started snowing late afternoon the flakes were HUGE. If you look closely at the brown house in the picture you can see the snowflakes in front of it.

Stickers and Cards

What can I say she loves her stickers.
Emma was trying to save her stickers. She didn't cover herself like Ali.

Pulling the stickers out of the card.

Seeing the stickers for the first time.

Opening their cards.

Yesterday the only thing that came in the mail was three Valentine Cards for the girls. They were napping when I got the mail, so when they got home I let them rip into them. They love opening mail, looking at cards, and getting stickers. They each got a card from Billy's parents that had a pack of stickers. I didn't know 76 mini heart stickers could disappear so fast. The third card was from Uncle Johnny with some money, which I quickly scooped up and hid away so they didn't lose that.

CARS

We spend to much time in this house watching TV. The Disney channel has the super cute mini Mater cartoons and the girls know the sound of them and come running!

Why I'm not a stay at home mom

One of the many reasons I'm not at stay at home mom....

Part of my lunch yesterday was a HUGE bowl of coffee ice cream.
How healthy is that?

My Pink Eyed Child

If you can over look the dirty chin and look closely at her right eye (left eye looking straight at the pic) you will see a little bit of stuff in the corner. That's nothing compared to how it looked earlier in the evening. If never fails, Emma always seem to get "junk" in that eye and lots extra water. The eyelid will at times look red. Every time they call it pink eye give us some drops and in a matter of a few days it's cleared up and gone. I'm not always convinced it's pink eye, but the drops do the trick. Thank goodness I still had some left from last time so we did the doctor's visit, but saved on a new prescription. I can't even begin to remember how many times she has supposedly had pink eye, but I know its been to many. It seems like every time she gets a cold or anything like that it goes to that right eye. Between all the ear infections last winter and pink eye that's on going I'm going to have a deaf and blind child before she starts school.
